SMC (Safety, Health, E-learning, Resources, and Guidance) has been the cornerstone of greatness in the health, safety, and environment industry since 2006. All the teams are experts in their fields, and they have more than 53 years of combined experience in the health, safety, and environmental industry between them.
We have worked on various construction and mining projects all in and around the Mpumalanga area.

CONSULTING

RISK ASSESSMENTS
The most important legal duty imposed on employers by the Occupational Health and Safety Act is the one requiring employers to conduct Risk Assessments (HIRA – Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) to eliminate or reduce injuries or fatalities.

SAFETY FILE
A safety File is needed when working on the construction of a mining site. The construction and mining industries enforce the need to work safer. The goal is to reduce workplace-related accidents.
We do Contractor Packs and Safety Files for all sites and mines. We also do construction safety files. Our team prides itself on having the knowledge and training needed to get all your packs signed off in time for the Customer/Client.
INSPECTIONS
The aim is to provide and regulate health and safety at the workplace to assist with onsite inspections that prevent injuries, fires, slips and falls, and non-compliance. All onsite inspections will have a report and recommendations for findings.
Inspection can be done either monthly or as a once-off service.
COMPLIANCE AUDITING
A health and safety system should be under constant review to ensure the identification of gaps in policies and procedures and to ensure that the system evolves and improves.
This enables the company to learn from experience and forms the basis of overall compliance with the Health and Safety Act.
E-learning is a type of learning conducted digitally via electronic media, typically involving the Internet. It can be accessed via most electronic devices including a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone, making it a versatile and effortless way for students to learn wherever they are.
E-learning is the process of sharing knowledge through various channels. It has revolutionized the conventional method of chalk and board style of learning imparted to the students. Unlike this, e-Learning education makes giving and receiving simpler, more prolific, and more productive.
E-learning is when learners complete self-paced online training. In this case, the learner and the instructor are not online at the same time.
